Koenigsegg Top Speeds
Koenigsegg builds around forty cars a year in a former air force hangar in Sweden, and it has held the outright production car record twice, twenty years apart. Six models, ordered by their headline figure. Where a number is a claim or an estimate rather than a measured run, we say so and we grey it out.
The Jesko Absolut and the One:1 carry the two biggest figures on this page and neither has ever made a top-speed run. Both come from simulation. The green bars belong to the cars with a stopwatch behind them: the CCR at 387.87 km/h round the Nardo bowl in February 2005, which took the record off the McLaren F1, and the Agera RS at 447.19 km/h averaged over two passes on a closed Nevada highway in 2017, which is still the fastest anyone has proved a production car will go.
Figures are manufacturer specifications or verified record runs. Claimed, simulated and estimated speeds are labelled as such and are never presented as results.
