The common house mouse is believed to have originated in the grasslands of Southwest Asia. During prehistoric times the early mouse were able to live off dry grains and survived long periods of times without food. Mice are small rodents with relatively large ears and small black eyes, they weigh about an half an ounce and they usually are light brownish to grey . A mouse will travel anywhere from ten to thirty feet when looking for food or water.
