Far East of Russia has the largest population of grizzly bears in the world but they also are found in Western Canada and Northwest of America. A male grizzly bear grow up to eight feet tall and weigh between 230-450 kilos. They comfortably survive the cold with the body fat stored from large amounts of food they eat during warmer seasons. Grizzly bear diet varies depending on what foods are available for the season and in some seasons up to 90 % of their diet is vegetarian.
